Pizza and Indian food?! Yup, definitely a good mix! I’ve made pizza with Korean ingredients, so why not try out Indian pizza?! It’s got ingredients such as tandoori chicken, egg plant, shrimp, lamb, cilantro, ginger, and a chicken masala sauce! So good!! The cheese chili naan actually has some chili inside. Kind of weird, but cool to try. Their garlic naan is delicious and they have some delicious spicy dishes! Can’t go wrong with chicken tikka masala! Their rogan josh only had a few pieces of lamb, but was executed well. Whichever saag we got had some crazy flavor! What was surprisingly good (and spicy) was the biriyani we got (rice dish). A good meal with some friends.

Got me a new york steak grilled with a chimichurri sauce and fries. Not the most tender pieces of beef I’ve had, but the chimichurri added some nice flavor. The fries were just there as a filler.

Grilled salmon on top of a pasta salad and topped with a coconut and pineapple salsa. Actually more impressive than I thought it’d be. They didn’t overcook my salmon and the salsa was put together well.

Came out to visit the new baby and a couple homies I haven’t seen for a while. Decided to try out this good ramen spot in Union City. I tried their spicy ramen, which had a bunch of flavor and definitely made me sweat a bit. Their eggs were slightly overdone, but the noodles were just right.

Cooking for the volunteers at Cameron House on 3/28/2014

We made a hawaiian themed slider bar! We had baked chicken with a pineapple, ginger marinade, kalua pork, non-mayo slaw, spam (of course), macaroni salad, a pineapple salsa, and hawaiian rolls!

I’m going to be searching for a good Indian buffet in SF. I miss the one I used to eat in Tustin for $9!! This one was ok. Good, fresh, garlic naan! I only enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, but everything else was pretty dry or not as flavorful as I would have liked. Their desserts weren’t all that either. They’ve got good mango lassi, so that’s a definite plus. Decent, but not that awesomeness I’m searching for.

Fried chicken day means I’m getting fried chicken! Get it with mashed potatoes and extra brussel sprouts! Douse the chicken in some hot sauce and you’re golden!

I usually get the chicken katsu because they are consistent as hell here! Super crispy, batter sticks to the meat, the mac salad is super good, and portions are huge!!

Always a line out here! We got the prosciutto croque monsieur, which had a good amount of salty flavor, so the spicy pickled carrots cut right through it! The ham and cheese croissant was super flaky (it got everywhere!) and pretty good. And, of course, the famous morning bun! This time it was a lot softer than the first time I got it. It’s drizzled with something like an orange caramel syrup. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t tried already.

I think I got the Porn Star. No joke, that’s what it’s called! And it is hella good!!! It has marinated bbq chicken, bomb sauce, secret sauce, teriyaki, and I think Swiss cheese.

Once again, Grindz! Love their spam and cheese waffles! Got a chicken katsu moco. Good gravy, crispy chicken, oozing egg! We finished off the meal with the pineapple with li-hing powder. Different presentation this time, but still delicious!!!

Just a typical heavy meal here! We shared one of their burgers that is mixed with bacon. Good burger. The pork fries are a winner. Pulled pork with cheese, buffalo sauce, and scallions over criss cut fries. So good! We also got the lobster mac and cheese because it’s awesome!

This may have become my favorite breakfast/brunch/dinner place! My first time for brunch and I got the Miracle Pancakes (changes daily) and tried some of the ravioli with porcini mushrooms and some sort of magical white wine sauce. My pancakes were banana and just delightful. This place is known for their pancakes and I wasn’t disappointed one bit!

I’ve had the ravioli for dinner before and it was just as amazing to have earlier in the day! I could take shots of the sauce. No joke. I wanted to take the sauce to go to warm me up later!

Finally!!! Finally Judy comes up for a visit and finally, I get to try this place! We split the pork belly and polenta (very tender and the polenta was as light as can be), asparagus salad (seasoned well, dressed well, and went perfectly with the prosciutto), Atomic pizza with sausage (thin crusted, much flavor, I want more)

They’ll make you a personal pizza for about $6.50! I got roasted garlic, sausage, mozzarella, and pesto. Not bad for a good price!
